Simply Amusing Designs

Just a quick note to say I’m pressing “Pause!” so I can finish the designs in my queue – I currently have more folks waiting for their designs than I am comfortable with, so I’m closing the order pad for a week or so until I can get caught up – I’ll reopen just as SOON as I can get my head above the water!

If you’re in need of a design or blogger cards, please don’t hesitate to fill out the order form, but understand that it could be as long as 4 or 5 weeks before I can get to your order. I’ll happily place you in the queue as long as you’re okay with that!

My first funky design…what do you think?

Natalie from Queen of the Marginally Bright wanted a new look for her blog – she said she was a huge fan of orange and wanted something that was fun and bright like her personality. So I gave her a rabbit on a disco ball. How’s that for funky?

Amanda was one of two Ultimate Design winners from my feature at Bloggy Giveaways. She wanted a new look that was bright and inviting, but also made it obvious that her blog’s focus was money. I think we achieved that in this new design:

When Tressa from Van Voorst’s Adoption Journey contacted me about designing her header, she mentioned that she and her husband were adoption twins from Ethiopia and I knew I was going to like her right away. This couple was so easy to work with that it made the process even that much more fun.

She wanted primary colors and something clean and crisp that included the colors of the Ethiopian Flag, in honor of her children. I came up with the tag line “A great joy is coming”, but that will change once they have their children to something more appropriate. This is her design:
