Why should I choose Simply Amusing Designs?
As a small business owner, we understand the importance of protecting your finances. Time is money and we don’t believe that either one should be wasted. Every design we create is customized based on the questions you answer, the time we spend reading through your blog or website and the conversations we have. We believe that your blog or website should not only reflect your personality and writing style, it should be an enhancement that helps attract new readers and spotlights all that beautiful writing you are doing.
What platforms do you design for?
We can design for any platform and our we have developers experienced in Big Commerce, Facebook, Typepad, WordPress, Blogger, CMS Made Simple, and Magento.
What is it going to cost me?
We offer several packages to accomodate almost any budget – please see the Services page for more information.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards (American Express, Mastercard, Visa, Discover)  and e-checks through Paypal, unless prior arrangements have been made. Paypal is secure, and payments can be made via almost any major credit card, debit card, or bank account.
Once I place an order, how long will it take before my design is complete?
Depending on the complexity of your design and how full the queue is, it can usually be ready for installation anywhere from 10 days to 6 weeks. We will provide you with a more specific date when your order is placed and your deposit has been received. Please keep in mind that these are very general timelines and are largely dependent upon ensuring the we have received everything from you by the time your design slot comes open.
What if I don’t like the design?
That is highly improbable! The design process isn’t even started until we have a clear direction for what you want. But, if you really didn’t like it, all packages come with a change phase (edit), every change phase after that is billed at an hourly rate or $75 in 15 minute increments. Our goal is for you to love it, not just like it, so we won’t stop until you’re ecstatic about your new site.
When is payment due?
A 50% deposit is invoiced prior to beginning any work. Then, once the final mockup is approved, prior to installation, you will receive another invoice for the final balance due (which also includes any items not in the original estimate or package). Installation will not be completed until full payment has been received. This applies only to blog projects. If we are designing a custom website for you, payment arrangments are set up at the time of signing the contract and can be broken down by milestones.
