Hostgator
Texas-run Hostgator is a fabulous choice for anyone who is new to blogging. Talk about customer service – they’ll transfer your existing blog right onto their servers for you – at no extra charge! I have set up several sites on Hostgator and continue to be pleased with their fast and dependable customer service.

If you’re an author or small business and are looking for something that’s a little more advanced and offers a little more flexibility, WordPress is definitely the way you want to go. With a variety of features and plugins for almost anything you could want, you can’t go wrong! As with Blogger, our WordPress themes are all available with widget support!
Dreamhost
My experience with Dreamhost has been fantastic. Their response time is lightning fast and their customer service is top-notch, which is extremely important to me. Shoot them an email and you’ll most likely get your reply the same day, if not within 24 hours

Blogger is a free blogging solution for the beginner who isn’t as concerned with SEO. With little to no experience with blogging or coding required, it offers just what you need to get you started. Widgets are available for use in your sidebar if you are using the newest version of the Blogger.
